Mookie Betts, full name Markus Lynn Betts (yes, that is M L B in initials) is a wonderful player to watch on and off the field.
Last night the Dodgers were in game three of the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Mookie found himself on second base, saw his “little brother” Willy Adames, who is quite the cheer leader and spirit of the Rays, and Mookie evidently said “Haven’t seen you in awhile” which led to the hug you see in the photo. Right there on television in the midst of the Fall Classic.
Another reason to love baseball, particularly at this time of Pandemic and contention.
