No crowds… playing in a bubble… shortened season, but you still get this. In the thick of a post season game, Codi Bellinger steals a home run from Fernando Tatis Jr… and probably saves the win. He had to circle back, he had to time it just right. Wow.
This is not about being a Dodger fan, or certainly not about that alone.
Baseball remains breath taking. There are moments, like this, and all the fretting about how baseball takes too long, it’s borrrrrrrring…. they’re paid too much…. for at least some of us, that all gets removed from the field. And we feel blessed.
